This is my reflection about the process of creating is film opening. I hope you enjoy.

FILM IS DONE!!!!!

We have come to the end of the world, in which the only way to survive is to enjoy this film opening. It was an eye opening process and it has taught me so much in the last couple of weeks. I hope you enjoy this film opening.

Breakdown #1

Later today about 7:00 my first breakdown occurred. Now this was a given as I have been trying to make iMovie work for an entire week. Now I decided to contact my cousin who either studied computer engineer, software, or science. I think it is one of those, but I could never remember. But anyways, he is good with computers, but it still took us three hours to try to figure out how to make the computer faster as well as try to update iMovie to the newest version. We figured out how to delete iMovie to the point that we could install it instead of updating it. This will allow for the latest iMovie to be installed. Now I hope that tomorrow iMovie will be okay, and I will have the opportunity to edit my video for once in my life. This sounds so complicated, which to me it was confusing but I hope that it will work. The videos will be coming up soon.

CCR- On Its Way

The Creative Critical Reflection is on its way. Hold on tight. I am in the process of writing as well as filming the Creative Critical Reflection. I find it odd talking to a camera and so I’m having difficulty expressing what I have to say, so I started to type it up so I have something to go with. I have already started to film the CCR and I hope to finish it today. I know that this is a short post, but I just wanted to keep you all updated. My last post will be the CCR.

Haven't Cried Yet

The frustration is beyond my control. iMovie is not working. It had taken days for iMovie to work and the computer to load. After a couple of days, iMovie finally started to work and  when I was ready to edit, I was importing my video on the computer and it took nine hours for the videos to import. So I had patience and waited for the video to load for the next day. I was so excited to see that the videos loaded and be able to start editing, then I ran into another problem, the viewing screen to watch the clips that you would be editing is not working and it becoming frustrating because I need to edit this project as well as the CCR. I haven’t broken down yet, which to be honest it is a miracle, but I’m trying to fix everything. In the meantime, I will try to fix iMovie and during my breaks from having an emotional breakdown, I will try to  record the voiceover and as well as the CCR. i am behind schedule and it is stressing me out completely. But the show must go on.

VOICE

Today has been a stressful weekend. I have been trying to get iMovie to work and it hasn’t. I updated iMovie, which is worked until it said that the graphics wasn’t supported by the hardware. So while I’m trying to figure the iMovie out, I needed to continue with writing and moving the process forward. So, I have started to write the voice over for the film opening. I have been writing the voice over for a while, trying to figure out what would work best. Now, I wrote the opening on a piece of paper because I am old school, but anyways, the voice over is done by her best friend, introducing Alice to the audience as well as introducing her guilt of being oblivious to how Alice felt.  I will hope that the voice over will work with the music as well as the shots of the film. I could always change some things after I start to really edit the project. I wanted to show the papers where the voice over was written. I hope to do a future post with exactly what the voice over is saying when it is finalized. So here is the process:

This might be my final draft of the voice over, but if it doesn't go well when the opening is edited, then I will have a chance to go back and make the voice over fit together with everything else. 

We Have a Little Problem

Now I was supposed to start editing on Thursday and I went to turn on the computer and it was not loading. So I waited some hours for the computer to load and it still wasn’t loading. I thought that if I left the computer on at night that at some point, it would load. Well fast forward to 6:00 AM, it was STILL loading. I told my dad if he could fix it. When I came back from school, the computer was turned off. So I turned it on and this time it took about 15 minutes to turn on. Then I ran into another problem I needed the local items keychain password and I had NO IDEA what that is. So again, I asked my dad and he was as clueless as me. So we decided to change accounts and we waited and waited and waited. After trying to log in and set up the computer for half an hour, it finally worked. Then I got myself into ANOTHER problem. It feels like technology really hates me today. It is such a beautiful Friday evening and night. This is a short post and I hope to update on the problem of trying to open iMovie. Really, WHY DOES LIFE HATE ME!!!

But anyways, the update will hopefully come on Saturday and hope that the computer and iMovie are running smoothly and I have the chance to start editing.

P.S. I did click Report as well as Reopen about 100 times, but I hope that there will be some answers, or I will need someone to do some voodoo magic on the computer to make it work.
